South Bank Day Hospital is the only hospital in Queensland with an excimer laser.  This means you can have refractive laser eye surgery (including no touch bladeless surgery) in the safe environment of a fully accredited private hospital. Therapeutic laser procedures such as a phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) covered by your private health fund.

  • Have cold or fever symptoms (sore throat, coughing, sneezing etc)
  • Recently visited a COVID-19 hot spot (as identified on the Queensland Government website)

Please note that all visitors at this time will undergo contactless temperature checking. Our staff will also require the full names and contact details of all visitors to the building.
